NBME Score Calculator is a free set of tools that convert your practice-exam results into an estimated 3-digit USMLE score. Using a calculator needs no account, and the conversion itself runs in your browser.
What it covers
The site ships with 22 calculators grouped by exam:
- Step 1 self-assessments: NBME Forms 25 through 31.
- Step 2 CK self-assessments: NBME Forms 9 through 15.
- Practice exams: Free 120, UWSA 1, and UWSA 2 (Step 1 and Step 2 variants).
- Converters: a Step 1 and a Step 2 CK score converter.
How to run a calculation
- Pick the calculator that matches the form you sat.
- Enter either your number of correct answers, number wrong, or your percentage — whichever you have.
- Read the estimated 3-digit score, along with a pass-likelihood indicator where the form supports one.
Because the math is deterministic, the same input always returns the same estimate. The calculation is not sent anywhere by itself. Your result only reaches a server if you ask it to: when you request the emailed report, when you save a calculation to your dashboard while signed in, or when you post a score to a calculator's community board. The privacy policy sets out exactly what each of those sends.
